After the Virginia Tech shootings, as you may recall, a lot of people started using the shootings as a convenient excuse to start pontificating about their favorite cause or to attack their most hated enemy, be it secularism or even vaccines. In fact, politicians, pundits, and just plain annoying whackjobs are blaming the rampage on so many different hobbyhorses, that there’s even a blogger keeping a running tally, which is up to 72 so far.
A few days ago, I thought I had uncovered the lowest of the low, where a white nationalist besmirched the name of one of the heroes of that horrible day, Liviu Librescu, a Holocaust survivor who had held the door of his classroom against the gunman, Cho Seung-Hui, allowing his students to jump out of the classroom window until Seung-Hui finally shot him multiple times through the door, accusing him of “protecting the ultimate symbol of a degenerate multicultural-promoting institution, where Jewish professors like himself reign supreme, indoctrinating moldable young student minds with filthy Jew propaganda.” I thought that was the lowest of the low.
Forgive me, dear readers, but I can’t help myself now that I’ve learned that there is a competitor for the title of lowest of the low when it comes to blaming the shooting on various causes that the competitor hates. This time around, it’s Bill White, Commander of the American National Socialist Workers’ Party, who (surprise! surprise!) blames it all on race-mixing:

So far, I can’t feel sorry for four of the thirty three dead. As the stories come out, I, unfortunately, except this total to increase.

And don’t take this the wrong way — any innocents killed I feel badly for. I just wonder how many innocents were really involved. Abstractly, I wonder how many people are ever innocent …
I need a shower again. Sadly, I don’t think that all the water in Lake Superior could cleanse the filth that is the mind of Bill White dripping its slime on me.
I realize that some of you may be unhappy that I dragged you down to see just how vile some people’s thought processes are, but I think it’s important to see how these people thing and expose their real beliefs to a wide audience to show just how despicable they are.
